Here are some utilities that we find useful in our everyday work. We present them here in the hope that one of them might help solve some problem for you too.

lastdir.zip contains several files that allow you to create a batch file on the fly to return to the current drive and directory from anywhere. Unlike an environment variable, the batch file remains until deleted or overwritten, so it can be used to force a command prompt to return to one's working directory from a previous session, even after a system reboot.  Read lastdir.txt for information on how to use lastdir.
